Whhat has the world come to? Its a popular phrase which we use to signify some disgust we have with the way the world is. In my opinion we need ask ourselves this question every day. The things that go on in this world today is absolutely amazing. People attack innocent people for no reason. The amount of senseless killing is amazing. Shockingly disgusting. They say the world is going to end later on this year and I'm finding it hard to disagree with. Or maybe I want it to be true. Honestly, as time progresses we can look back on history and fins that humans, citizens of the world are becoming increasingly violent hateful, and downright homicidal. Why should we continue to live here on earth when our main goal hurt and maim others. To me that is not what the goal of life is. We should be helping, giving, and having sex with one another. That isn't happening. here I sit at the center if my town and the flags are at half staff. They are at half staff because of a terrible shooting at a movie theater in Colorado. It is just depressing. I hope the world does end and take us human beings with because I wish not to see another one of these things happen. I rather us all burn up together because we are too close to the sun than see more innocent victims.

23
Q

Well, I turned 23 yesterday. Horrible,I know. I detest birthdays they signify that one step closer to death we take each year. When I was younger I imagined how I'd be as a 23 year old stud. It was nowhere to where I am now. I'm not saying its a bad thing but it is not what I expected in part because my views have changed. When I was younger I thought at the age of 23 I would have some awesome corporate job and own a house. Yea, that couldn't be further from reality. 1, its extremely difficult to own a house right out of college. 2, I am jobless. I am only but a stud, a vision which continues to reign. Although 23 seems old, it is not. So in honor of being 23, having my youth and being full of crazy ideas. I have decided to make a bucketlist for the age of 23. The list is important because I feel as we get older we really miss out on life because we let our as hold us back as an excuse. I am going to do the opposite. Now some of my bucketlist must remain anonymous for some plans can not be achieved if the world knows them. Also some items on the list are ridiculous. I will however let you know some of my plans to take over the world.
First, I would like to run a 5k in the spring. The reason for that is I'm out of shape and I need motivation to get into shape. What better way than a 5k and I'll have time to get into shape for it. We'll see how that goes. Second, I am plotting to go back to Europe this winter tickets will be cheap and I can hopefully afford it, if I accomplish number three. Thirdly, I need to obtain a not so lame job. I figure since I want to travel I need a job. Well that's about it for now. Just needed to show the world that I have not given up hope although I am older which is weird because I am.usually quite the pessimist.
I hope spellcheck caught all my errors cause I'm not proofreading this bitch.

Will the party ever stop?

Sure there are a lot of negative things associated with the party culture: being immature, reckless, etc. Those stereotypes should be left with underage undergraduate drinking. I believe that as you mature you can learn to party in a more respectful manner. One, in which you learn to gracefully ride a bicycle while you are completely blasted. I, in fact, can do this while riding a full grown man on the handle bars. You know graduation is not the death sentence to the party. It merely signifies that you must control the aforementioned subject. For example it is not unacceptable to get drunk on a random Monday afternoon (I learned this the hard way, I also learned that no cop expects to see a drunk driver at three in the afternoon) its just not okay anymore because after college you are held to higher standards (unfortunately). Ultimately you have to stop partying when you have a kid and even then its just a hiatus until they are old enough to partake in the grape (drink) with you. The fact that you may reproduce one day is reason enough to continue the party after you graduate because you do eventually have to stop (unless you're an alcoholic). Speaking of alcoholics, that old saying "its not alcoholism till your out of college" is kinda true so you might as well live it up while you are young and your responsibility is at an all time real world low. I think its is important to keep hold of the party you know it keeps you young by letting you let loose and get rid of the stress. I genuinely feel that if you were to stop the party you would become depressed and might endanger yourself. Why am I trying to convince people to party? It seems as if the only thing that makes me happy is alcohol (because it is). The message is clear don't stop partying cause I sure won't.

Opinion: texting while drivng
Well I decided to use this forum to speak on various issues and voice my opinion because I can. Today a verdict was handed out on a texting while driving case. A teenager was convicted of homicide because he was texting while driving. I think this is completely extreme. Its extreme because you can do a lot of things while driving that can distract your attention and cause an accident that can be potentially fatal. So why just take a stand against texting. I do not text very often while driving and if I do its short responses in fact when.I text while driving is probably safer than me eating.while driving. Today I had a milkshake and was licking the whip cream off of the top, it was worse than it sounds I was completely having a romantic make out session with this milkshake I drove a mile and could not tell you how I did it. I was distracted. It is easily as dangerous as texting while driving but is it illegal? Will I get convicted of a homicide if I get into am accident? Hell no! If the government wants to make one thing illegal while driving they might as well amke everything illegal while driving. Either way that poor kid should not have a homicide and I will never obey those stupid driving laws because I am more likely to get into an accident while checking some girl out whole driving than texting. Rant finished.

Entitled
I have a degree from a great university and I feel that it should give me an advantage in life. Who with a degree doesn't have that feeling? Its a problem that most graduates have no matter the university. We recent graduates feel entitled because the whole university experience from start to finish enables us to become monsters. Its starts with application process (for some it may begin earlier but I know nothing about that I just applied to one place sans visits or anything). To apply we do various multiple things that assert ourselves as the "elite" deserving to attend. That's where our humble mindset falls to the evils. We plead our cases through essay stating why we deserve to attend. Then our backgrounds our scrutinized, they look at our families, our extracurricular activities. Lastly, we take a test, which ultimaly will have no bearing on our long-term future. But can sure fuck up the immediate one. After all this is said and done some school (mistakenly, in my case) accepts you in as one of their academic elite. How are we not supposed to think we are entitled to something, I mean up until graduation we have been told through various things like the aforementioned application process that we are entitled. Along with being accepted and completing our due tenure at these institutions of higher learning, we pay massive amounts of money to become educated. When you spend your money to attend a place like that where they preach "you will be making more money than your peers who didn't attend" you are sure as hell adpted to feel entitled. I must warn you what I say may not be true for everyone. They are many reasons why I did feel entitled. I no longer have these feelings (somewhat). I learned the easy way that I'm not. For simple reasons too I might add. I got rejected from a couple jobs and realized that just because I have a degree from a certain university don't mean shit. I thought hey degree from here i can get any job. That's all I got to say about that. Actually its not, because I found out the other day that other can feel entiltled for you. I have a little true life example. The other day I was speaking about job prospects and my friend immediately shot it down and proclaimed " you have degree from x and you wanna do that! You can't do that!" Just an example of how people thinks degrees mean you deserve better. I was indoctrinated to feel that way blame society not me. As curly would say "I'm a victim of circumstance". Really, as I continue to. The fact that you jave a degree doesn't mean you worked for it.i for example did nothing durimg my college career, I deserve nothing. Man realizing my life wont be so easy after college and all my studies is kinda depressing. Time for a beeror thirty. Lastly, I stopped being drunk around the end of the first paragraph.
